➀ Overview
As my first risograph project, I illustrated Thom Yorke's latest solo album, ANIMA. The album’s electronic, atmospheric sound combined with its fragmented lyrics, inspired abstract associations and surreal illustrations.
➁ GOAL
My goal was to visually capture the essence of ANIMA through illustrations that reflect its themes of alienation and disconnection of modern life. I aimed to visually represent the album's dreamlike and dystopian qualities.
➂ APPROACH
I explored the mood and symbolism of the music and lyrics, creating surreal, geometric illustrations that convey a mechanical and alienated feel.
