➀ Overview
A generative virtual poster campaign exploring the phenomenon of the Infodemic, characterised by the rapid spread of both accurate and misleading information during a disease outbreak, particularly in the Digital Age. As social media amplifies this issue, individuals often struggle to identify reliable information amidst a flood of rumors, fake news, and conspiracy theories.

FIRST STEPS // EVOLUTION
➁ GOAL
This project addresses a social issue through a virtual poster campaign, emphasizing the importance of caution, critical thinking, and the risks posed by fake news. It aims to familiarize viewers with the nature of infodemics, encouraging them to become more attentive and responsible. By presenting vivid, dynamic posters that initially capture attention but ultimately create confusion, the campaign urges viewers to engage with the topic and consider their role in combating misinformation. As infodemics erode trust in health authorities and prolong crises, this initiative underscores the urgent need to distinguish between credible and unreliable sources.
➂ APPROACH
The project is highly experimental, focusing on the relationship between message and method. The software used operates online, generating visual elements continuously through the web. This reflects how information reaches us in real-time. As we shifted to the virtual world during the pandemic, with information predominantly accessed online rather than in physical spaces, I created a virtual exhibition for my posters to engage the audience.
